The company consists of more than 10,000 square metres of buildings including dry storage, a chilled production building and a cold storage with capacity for 9,000 pallets.
The current operation is running at a processing capacity of approx. 50% of the throughput of BHJ USA Inc.’s Omaha plant. It is the intention to carry out major investments in the upgrading of the facility within the next six months. This will boost this capacity in throughput significantly, constituting a significant increase of BHJ’s presence in the North American pet food market.
28 people are working in the factory including a plant manager and an office manager and all are expected to continue as employees in BHJ USA Inc.
In the future, all commercial activities, payments, financial statements will be performed out of BHJ’s Omaha office serviced by the existing staff.
